Edge Naturale (TGT Review Corner)

Welcome to The Glam Therapist Review Corner…..

Welcome to a New Segment I will call " The Review Corner". This segment will consist of items that I personally try, sample and review. Many of these items contribute to my own personal self care and well-being journey.

First Up we have Edge Naturale. Edge Naturale™ is the brand new - Amazing system for people who want to revive edges fast.

For sometime now I have suffered with severe hair shedding. I noticed it 5 years ago following the death of my father (Caused by Depression, Grief & Loss.... Girl that's a whole different Blog Post) and then it took a turn for the worse when a beautician did a horrible job on my hair. Edge Naturale is a Hair Follice Enhancer known for growing those thinning areas.

Restore your edges and look like YOU again...

  • - Safe Ingredients

  • - USA Made and Tested
    - Cruelty Free
    - A ‘One-Product’ System
    - Simple Application
    - Amazing Results!

Directions For Use:

Clean your edges or area of application with warm water. Dispense cream onto the problem area with your fingertips. You will feel a tingling sensation, this is the peppermint working to stimulate your follicles!

MY HONEST REVIEW:
  • Smell: The product has a very vibrant peppermint smell.
  • Appearance/ Texture: The product texture is very thick and creamy. The product is a white cream, it has a great thickness and coats each hair follicle well.
  • How I Used It/ Product Results: I have been using the product for 3 weeks now. For the first 2 weeks I used the product alone and although I didn't see my thinning areas fill in what I did notice was the hair present was stronger and more pliable when styling my hair. For the past week I have been using the product on my hair line along with Wild Hair Growth oil and I see a huge difference in the texture of my edges. I had braids installed today and plan to continue using the product/cream on my hair line an edges. Certain hair types and textures can take a while to see results, which has always been my case. But what I enjoyed about this product was the thickness and enhanced strength I began to see in my edges.
Check Me Out IG where I have been posting live stories using these products!!!

Self Care: Am I Being Selfish??

S ome women feel that taking time for themselves is being selfish. They think that taking time for themselves takes away from their family, friends, jobs, hobbies and relationships. For many years I felt the same way, until I realized that temporarily closing for my own personal maintenance, allows me to be more emotionally and physically available for all of the other duties in my life. Like many of you, in our daily lives we wear several hats: sister, aunt, daughter, friend, mom and the list goes on and on. But, how do we completely allow ourselves to be present in the different roles and relationships without taking time for our own personal care and needs?   How can you fill someone else’s tank if yours is empty?   What is self-care?   Self-care is the care and cultivation of self. Self-Care is focusing on the needs of the spirit, soul and the knowledge of self.   How do you care for yourself? The first step of caring for yourself is understandin...

Journaling 101

Journaling is one of the ways to deal with any overwhelming emotion. Journaling is helpful as it creates a safe space for us to express ourselves. Journaling can help you manage anxiety, reduce stress, and cope with depression. Journaling is helpful and must be made a habit to be most beneficial. It’s important to: 1) Make it meaningful to you. Journal, write and discuss what matters to you. Research journal topics if necessary. 2) Set aside time and make it happen. Create a time every day and/or week depending on your schedule to journal. Make sure it’s during a realistic time where you can sit and complete your journaling. 3) Select journaling tools that speak to your personality. Use special pens, pencils and notebooks or journals that match your personal style. 4) Create a journaling space/ environment. Create an environment for journaling perhaps with your favorite drink/cocktail, favorite pillow or blanket, or with your favorite candle burning.   When I initially engaged ...
